𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘥𝘰 𝘸𝘦 𝘧𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘫𝘶𝘥𝘨𝘦𝘥?
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬.
As humans, we are tribal beings.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐮𝐫 ‘𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞’ 𝐟𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞.
𝘚𝘰 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘰 𝘸𝘦 𝘥𝘰?
𝗪𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐲 𝐡𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝.
𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬.
The fear of judgment allows no space to celebrate our true selves.
And so, when we see someone who is different than most people in the tribe, we do what the tribe did to us.
𝗪𝐞 𝐣𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭.
And so the cycle begins again.
What if. 𝗪𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐈𝐅, we simply respected peoples differences. We celebrated everyone that was being their truest self possible.
Imagine the amazing connections and friendships that would be created, 𝐢𝐟 𝐰𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐨 𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐲.
𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘧, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦?
